Planbox is a single-page web application. The backend is in Ruby (with a PHP legacy) and MySQL. The front-end of the app is in Backbone.js and CoffeeScript.

Description:
The candidate will be responsible for:
- Deploying, maintaining and extending a decoupled front-end and back-end architecture.
- Developing and maintaining a new REST API on our “new” Ruby back-end.
- Maintaining and extending unit level and regression testing/QA.
- Configuring and monitoring of servers.
- Backup and disaster recovery planning.
- Evaluating new technology and making recommendations for adoption.
