We are looking for a developer to join our team and contribute to front-end development of a unique web-based collaborative software platform with an AngularJS front-end and a Python-based API backend.
The CFB is an independent research unit at the Technical University of Denmark (DTU) that conducts research on the development of cell factories—microbial strains that produce chemicals through biosynthesis—so that they can replace products from the petrochemical industry. We are working to develop these cell factories more quickly by setting up an efficient workflow for cell factory development.
The software platform is at the center of this workflow. We use robotics, modern genome-wide assays, large-scale data analysis, and computational modeling to speed up the development of cell factories. You will collaborate closely with computational and experimental biologists at CFB to connect these technologies.
What we can offer
- Long-term funding and support to build a unique software platform from the ground up
- Chance to work with a young, enthusiastic, and international group of engineers and scientists
- A mixture of academic and startup-like environment
