Our development team is responsible for the continual development and improvement of our unique toolset, MavensKit, in tandem with the creation of client-facing dashboard applications, data visualisations, and reporting systems for some of the world's most recognisable brands.
Working collaboratively within a team, the front-end developer will be responsible for creating application interfaces, interactive data visualisations, design patterns and interactive prototypes. They will bring a creatively minded and aesthetically motivated approach to complement the accomplished back-end development team.
Regular responsibilities will include;
- Lead front-end developer status on the user interface development, usability enhancement, extension, refactoring and maintenance of our unique toolset, MavensKit, as well as varied client-project initiatives.
- New product development, including MavensKit additions.
- Exploration, assessment, validation and development of data visualisation technologies. The ability to invent, where opportunities are identified.
- High performance reporting dashboard design / development.
- Prototyping and design pattern development

about youAlthough this is a development role rather than a design role, you will have an innate feel for exquisite interaction and interface design, coupled with comprehensive knowledge of front-end web development technologies and an insatiable curiosity. You will be able to demonstrate considerable experience of developing and delivering beautiful interactive web applications and demonstrate the following skills and experiences:
- Expert proficiency in HTML/CSS/Javascript/jQuery.
- Knowledge of varied libraries (such as D3.js), scripting frameworks, CSS frameworks, VCS and other general development tools/methods is expected.
- Knowledge of data retrieval / RESTful / API methods a benefit.
- Proven experience with rapid, iterative low and high-fidelity prototyping.
