We're looking for an enthusiastic, experienced and driven individual to join our Engineering team to focus on backend web engineering as well as stability, performance and security. The Team Lead will be expected to maintain management responsibility over engineering team members while still maintaining a significant hands-on technical role.
Responsibilities will include:
- Developing and delivering software solutions tied to iterative sprints
- Conducting sprint planning, demos and retrospective sessions
- Driving backend platform and supplemental system engineering efforts
- Serving as a leader to other team members and supporting recruiting efforts
- Ensuring successful data migrations, imports and integrity verification
- Developing and troubleshooting SQL Server database queries, stored procedures and functions
- Performing code reviews & pull request reviews
- Optimizing system performance through tuning and benchmarking
- Supporting code deployments across environments together with other Zest team members
- Supporting other members of the Zest Team as needed
