WHO YOU ARE:
You are a JavaScript wizard who understands how to use this beautiful language to create amazing web-based apps. This goes way beyond jQuery and other libraries and means you understand functional coding, JavaScript objects, and intelligent software architecture. You are passionate about performance and are near the OCD level for keeping code clean and organized. You have plenty of experience building many types of apps and that experience helps you attack through challenges and navigate around pitfalls that junior developers run into.
InkaBinka is a web application. The front end is a JavaScript framework called Famo.us. The app makes AJAX calls to a Node.js API, which pulls data from Couchbase. We also leverage elasticsearch in our backend. We use the Cordova wrapper to create our iOS version and the Famo.us wrapper for Android.
