We own the technology delivery of the Amazon homepage and site wide navigation as well as all the content contained in these features, which are used by millions of customers each day. Each serves up a blend of personalized content, editorial features, and site navigation.

- 1 - 3 years of experience developing with HTML, CSS3, SASS, Javascript, XML Web Services, Perl/CGI, Linux/Unix
- 1+ years of experience in Perl or another scripting language
- Solid knowledge of website fundamentals such as Javascript, HTML, XML, and CSS
- Software design skills across JS/CSS/HTML
- Cross browser and client-platform compatibility
- JavaScript frameworks (jQuery, Angular, Backbone, etc.), MVC
- Fast learner, enjoys a fast paced environment, and will unwaveringly drive issues to conclusion
- Driven to provide the best customer experience
- Experience in Java or another object-oriented language
- Experience in building modular/reusable front-end frameworks
- Knowledgeable on distributed systems
- Experience developing for front-end performance
- BS/MS in computer science
