Who we are:
Petersons.com, an online resource for students who are seeking information about higher education, is looking for a Senior Javascript Engineer that has experience building highly dynamic web experiences. The ideal candidate will have experience with modern javascript frameworks and will be able to jump in, learn quickly, and design and implement consumer facing web experiences with performance in mind. This is a full-time position based out of our Highlands Ranch, CO office.
Responsibilities:
- Design and implement user facing features that adhere to javascript design patterns and are highly performant
- Coding contributions will be focused primarily on front-end development efforts using latest javascript frameworks (jquery, angular.js, etc.) and HTML 5 solutions
- Analyze current front-end related website performance bottlenecks and implement improvements
- Work with an agile development team and ensure stories are delivered within scope and on time
- Work with the product owner to create and refine clear requirements that make sense with the technology
