MarketShare’s Sr. Front End –Software Engineer will be a force in evolving the usability of our entire platform. This role will be the standard bearer of the best tools, cleanest code that enables unruly marketing data hiding in the background to be served on the front end as beautiful insights. You will have the chance to be a foundation team member and have profound impact on every feature and every interface that users will touch.
What you will be doing:
- Design and develop the front end of our products with a focus on data rich interactions.
- Prototype, program and help ship the next generation of SaaS products that is yielding 10x return on investment for clients.
- Share your technical chops with others, and making good use of your customer facing skills.
- Deconstruct challenging data interaction problems, step back , adapt a ton of analytical moving parts, use cases, step back, and construct one whole, continuous vision, and deliver data visualization capabilities that engage, and delight our clients.
- Run along the cutting edge with an all-star lineup of experts in computer science, software engineering, marketing science, operation research and marketing strategy.
Skills, Talents and Experience you’ll need:
- Love for UI development, from concept to implementation and some to ten years of programming, wire-framing and prototyping experience.
- A body of work showing your deep affinity for tools like HTML5, CSS, JQuery, JavaScript libraries, backbone.js and SVG.
- Talent for selecting the right tool/technology for scalable and elegant end results.
- You are just as comfortable discussing delivery requirements as writing code.
- Synthesizing use-cases come as naturally to you as the fundamentals of Computer Science.
- Impressive examples of your work creating SaaS, enterprise, business applications, and prototypes.
- Bachelor’s Degree: ideally in Computer Science, Engineering, Math, Science, or an exceptional technical background.
Nice to haves:
- Experience programming for Animation and Mobile Applications
- Wire-framing and prototyping experience in the Adobe Suite
- Math? You Love Math! Perhaps you were a math major and found passion for developing the front end of software to inspire adoption, use and confidence in non-math major users.
- Advanced Degree: ideally in Math, Computer Science, Engineering, Science or exceptional technical background relevant to our products.
- Experience in SOA is a strong plus
- Visual design expertise demonstrated through mockups and style guides
