Scout builds hosted server monitoring that our customers love. We take a lot of pride in our product (making it awesome), our work (making it fun), and our co-workers (making them happy). We're looking to add the fourth human to our close-knit group.

First, great people! Second, great tech: Ruby, Sinatra, jQuery, Websockets, d3. There won't be an LDAP integration in sight, we promise. Third, you'll have a tremendous impact -- you'll be developer #2 in a group of four.
What you'll be working on
You'll be building the future of server monitoring. A sampling of projects we need your brain for:
- build the next-generation charts and dashboards system that blows everything else out the water.
- build a new API to make Scout a breeze to integrate with.
- build realtime reporting using websockets and d3!
You'll also have a key role in keeping Scout running smoothly. Since our customer base is constantly growing, we occasionally hit capacity limits & need to track down performance problems. There will (rarely) be urgent troubleshooting that needs to be done off-hours.
