ABOUT THE TEAM:
The Playback group is responsible for all aspects of Brightcove's video players, across many devices and platforms. This includes user interface, advertising, analytics and content protection integration, network communication with our backend services, and player configuration, customization and delivery. Our players are loaded over a 100 million times per day, and are used by media and broadcast companies such as the Boston Globe, New York Times, AMC Networks, NBC Universal and Showtime.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:
You’ll be working on building our new, highly performant Node-based REST API, to be used by our external customers and internal tools for managing video players and associated content. You will also contribute to building the player configuration and customization tools, including the user interface pieces. Most importantly, you’ll be part of a small, highly skilled Agile team dedicated to building and delivering the best possible product.
