2nd.MD is a group of innovative people who are excited to be using technology to revolutionize healthcare. As our client list grows to include well-know brands, we want to augment our team with a CTO who will serve as both a technology visionary and project manager.
Technology visionary: Technology is a core differentiator for our business. As we grow quickly, the 2nd.MD CTO needs to determine how technology can be used to implement business strategy. Our CTO should be comfortable evaluating paid and open source technologies while weighing the trade-offs and costs of building what is needed now and keeping the infrastructure flexible for future needs. He/she should consider technology a hobby as well as a profession and stay up-to-date on cutting-edge trends and topics accordingly.
Project manager: The CTO will oversee all technology services, product analysis, and software architecture activities at 2nd.MD. As well, this role is responsible for owning rapid development processes, and managing the rapid development team in its development of the company’s products.
