Much like jeans after the holidays, MC Squared is looking to expand.
We are looking for a fresh full time web developer to join our downtown Los Angeles team. Candidates should be comfortable building modular PHP backends and slick front end experiences using Javascript. You'll be expected to maintain old legacy code, in addition to developing new sites using modern techniques. Example projects include creating a blog with a custom backend to a flashy teaser micro-site to show off upcoming residential development. Our goal with all of our projects is to deliver dynamic, engaging, and memorable user experiences. As such, candidates should be passionate about delivering innovative and intuitive user-oriented projects.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist in the development of content-managed and database-driven web sites: backend and front-end
- Maintain and enhance existing web sites and internal tools
- Perform complete testing of web applications across multiple platforms and devices
- Build fully compliant HTML emails
TECH:
You don't have to know everything but, you have do have to be willing to learn it. Here are the few of the technologies we use: Grunt.js, SCSS/Compass, Laravel, Backbone.js and Jasmine. In addition to that we have an internal analytics tool built on Node.js and MongoDB that you may in the future be asked to work on. We're not expecting candidates to be experts on these technologies but candidates should be comfortable picking them up as needed.
