UrbanBound is currently looking for a Lead Software Developer to lead the implementation of our software, including web applications, mobile applications, APIs, and supporting infrastructure for UrbanBound’s rapidly growing base of Fortune 1000 clients. The Lead Software Developer is not only a proven master of languages, frameworks and APIs, but also has successfully managed, motivated and mentored a team of developers and designers to achieve successful software releases. The successful candidate will possess the following attributes: self-motivated, organized, leader, goal-oriented, problem-solver, communicator, and above all, a love for writing beautiful code that solves real problems with likeminded teammates.
Responsibilities:
- Lead UrbanBound’s software implementation strategy, including all technologies and languages used to develop our products and supporting systems.
- Lead UrbanBound’s software development projects using lightweight, iterative software development practices.
- Work with company leadership to ensure future product milestones are attainable.
- Manage, motivate and mentor the product team’s developers and designers.
- Conceive of and lead training and team building opportunities to grow the skills and abilities of the product team.
- Assist in vetting, hiring, and on-boarding new members of the product team.
